Ashtanga Mysore Class

Mysore style class is named for the town in India where Ashtanga Yoga originated. In this teaching method, each student in the classroom works one-on-one with the instructor learning the basics, then progressing at their own pace.  No experience needed. You will be practicing with students of all levels, in a nurturing, loving environment free of the pressures of daily life. We meet Mondays* and Wednesdays at 5:30 pm. Class runs until 7:30 pm and is taught to each student individually for the purpose of tailoring the practice appropriately to the student's needs. Arrive for this class between 5:30 and 6:30 pm and plan on finishing by 7:30 or when you have completed your assigned postures. Practice at home as often as you can to gain proficiency. As a beginner, consider a few private lessons to have the teacher's full attention and to ask questions about postures you may need extra help in understanding.
